Description

American Japonesque sterling silver chrysanthemum serving dish.

  • Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York.
  • Shaped oval well, curved sides with lobing and applied leaf border.
  • A profusion of blossoms bunched at ends and wrapped around bracket handles.
  • Scalloped rim with alternating flower heads and leaves.
  • Oval foot ring applied with same.
  • Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern number 5931 (first produced in 1880) and director’s letter T (1892–1902).
