Description
American Japonesque sterling silver chrysanthemum serving dish.
- Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York.
- Shaped oval well, curved sides with lobing and applied leaf border.
- A profusion of blossoms bunched at ends and wrapped around bracket handles.
- Scalloped rim with alternating flower heads and leaves.
- Oval foot ring applied with same.
- Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern number 5931 (first produced in 1880) and director’s letter T (1892–1902).
