One of the most iconic photobooks ever printed.
Completed with the assistance of Factory regulars Stephen Shore, Paul Morrissey, Ondine, Nico, Christopher Cerf, Alan Rinzler, Gerald Harrison, Akihito Shirakawa and David Paul, with photographs by Nat Finklestein and Billy Name.
The special sections are all initialed by Warhol, as issued: 1) castle pop-up; 2) red accordion; 3) bi-plane pop-up; 4) Chelsea Girls disk on a spring; 5) polyhedron on the string (pages still sealed shut); 6) Lou Reed record; 7) the triple-page fold-out nose; 8) Hunt's Tomato Paste can pop-up; 9) Andy Warhol tabs; 10) balloon, melted and sealing together facing pages, as usual.
