Description

American Art Nouveau-etched sterling silver flask.

  • Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York.
  • Rectilinear body with gently wavy top and bottom and hinged and cork-lined cover.
  • Fluid and dynamic acid-etched ornament: Entwined and scrolled flowering tendrils, and on front armorial motif with lion rampant and stylistically integrated monogram on strapwork cartouche.
  • Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern number 7283 and director’s letter C (1902-7).
