Description

American Art Deco jade and sterling silver gilt three-light candelabra.

  • Sold as a set of 2.
  • Made by Lebkuecher in Newark.
  • Retailed at Yamanaka and Co., a Japanese-owned art dealership specializing in Asian art with many locations including New York City.
  • Cylindrical jade shaft on octagonal base with carved petal flutes and fretwork.
  • Curvilinear silver gilt arms with block volute terminals mounted to shaft.
  • Each terminates in single jade socket on silver gilt leaf-and-dart mount.
  • Ornamented silver gilt mounts on shaft top and base.
  • Rests on silver gilt foot with block volute supports.
  • Fully marked including maker’s stamp, retailer’s stamp and number 04602/13.
