This player exclusive edition Air Force 1 is named for retired professional basketball player Damon Stoudamire. The side is decorated with the word "BIGGIE", and the Mighty Mouse graphic on the insole, are a playful nod to Stoudamire's shorter than average 5'10" stature as a basketball player. Stoudemire has a tattoo of Mighty Mouse to commemorate his courtside nickname. Originally released in 1982, the Air Force 1 is named after the presidential aircraft. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, it was the first basketball shoe to feature revolutionary air pocket technology. Today it is one of Nike’s most iconic, bestselling sneakers.
