Description

A typed and handwritten letter by Agatha Christie, thanking the recipient for her kind 80th birthday wishes.

  • Agatha Christie (British).
  • One-page typed letter addressed to Mme Dalimers, last 6 lines handwritten.
  • Winterbrook House, Wallingford: September 25th, 1970.
  • This work is presented unframed.

A charming Christie letter, written from Winterbrook House shortly after her 80th birthday.

Christie thanks Mrs. St Dalimers for her birthday wishes and adds an autograph postscript about her books, reassuring the recipient that “all my books get done in paper back fairly soon,” and hoping she will not have long to wait.

A brief but attractive note, combining birthday gratitude with a direct comment on the continuing popularity and publication of her work.
