• This edition consists of 1,050 copies printed by R. and R. Clarke from the Florence Press Type, designed by Herbert P. Horne and lent by Chatto and Windus with handmade paper that bears the watermark "RK," blue and black title pages.
• Signed by Kipling in volume one on the front title page.
• Handsomely bound by Aspery (gilt stamp lower inside covers) in navy blue morocco between cloth boards, top edge gilt, spine single gilt-rule in compartments between raised banding, second and third panels gilt titles, blue decorative endpaper, untrimmed edges.

First published in 25 volumes but eventually grew to 31 volumes as Kipling continued to write.
