Description

As a part of one of Stash’s (Josh Franklin) traveling exhibitions, “Tools Of The Trade,” he dropped 50 pairs of his Nike Dunk at the famed Paris concept store Colette. Alongside his Nike Dunk — the star of the opening event — Stash displayed and sold other limited-edition items designed by the artist in collaboration with brands like Nike, BAPE and Medicom. These Dunks were sold at an unprecedented price of EUR 350, atypical of classic Nike Dunks, and blur the line between sneakers and art.

Each box was numbered by the artist, with this particular pair number 41/50. The box has been personalized by Stash himself, with his graffiti tag on the exterior lid and side label. The shoes feature printed Stash graffiti tags on the lateral side of the heel and are accented with a paint drip motif on the quarter panels.

These shoes are accompanied by a letter from James Spence Authentication in regards to the signature.
