Description
An homage to the 1990s sitcom classic “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” this Air Jordan 5 Retro is inspired by the show’s vibrant title card. The Cool Grey leather upper is accented by a multicolor sock lining. The quarter panel stands out in translucent mesh and matches the outsole. The signature Air Jordan 5 shark tooth detailing is represented in blue with green speckling, and contrasted with a deep purple midsole. The "23" on the lateral heels is a standout brand detail.
By the time the Jordan 5 premiered in 1990, the Jordan line of sneakers was a household name and its release was widely anticipated. Designed by legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, the fifth Jordan was updated with a shark-tooth midsole pattern, inspired by the design of World War II fighter jets.
