The Air Jordan 12 was originally released in 1996 in five unique colorways. Air Jordan 12 became etched in sneaker history when Michael Jordan wore the Black/Varsity Red pair during the now iconic ‘Flu Game’.

The Air Jordan 12 Retro Utility ‘Grind’ released in 2021 features a mostly monochromatic black color scheme. The upper displays a tumbled black leather layered construction with the Jordan 12’s signature stitch detailing. The mudguard uses black suede and is paired with a basketball textured midsole with a JUMPMAN overlay trimmed with crimson lining. The glittery grey sole is partly composed of Nike Grind, a material composed of recycled manufacturing materials from Nike. Lastly the shoe features Jumpman branded lace lock hardware, a Jordan branded heel tab, ‘Two Three’ branding on the tongue, and ‘23’ found at the heel complete this design.
