Description
Before the 2006 World Cup in Brazil, Nike released an Air Force 1 capsule dedicated to five Nike-sponsored countries competing in the tournament. These Air Force 1 Premium ‘Netherlands' are finished in a patent leather and feature a vermilion orange outer with a white upper and a cobalt blue Swoosh, representing the Dutch national team jersey colors. Replacing the Nike tongue tag is a stitched Royal Dutch Football Association logo, which is also stamped on the inner sole. The blue rubber outsole and blue and orange inner cushion commit to the Dutch color scheme.
