The 2009 collaboration between Nike and Sony’s PlayStation bears many similarities to the original Air Force 1 collaboration in 2006 - from design to limited release. Coinciding with the 10th Anniversary of the PlayStation 2 console, the 2009 edition’s most notable difference is the full patent leather finish. The 2009 features the same color blocking as the 2006 model - with mostly black uppers, a multicolor heel, and the PlayStation logo placement across the lateral heel. The pair also comes with the purple laces.
