Description
Rolex released the reference 1500 in the early 1960s. The timepiece was fitted with a chronometer grade caliber, coupled with a date complication. The present version bears the rarer and early black dial, for a simple yet very elegant look.

GoodThe case shows visible signs of wear, surface scratches and nicks throughout. Scratches at the acrylic crystal. The bracelet with stretch. The dial with visible sign of age throughout. Residue throughout the hands. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
