The Tudor Black Bay Heritage was launched in 2012 and became an instant success. It builds on the iconic aesthetic of Tudor dive watches mixed with modern features that undoubtedly brought Tudor back into the spotlight. This legacy goes all the way back to 1954, when Tudor introduced the reference 7922 Submariner that served as the Black Bay inspiration. This special edition of the Black Bay marks a notable collaboration between two prestigious brands, Tudor and Harrods. While this exclusive timepiece’s general lines, domed dial and crystal can all be traced back to the Black Bay classics, its iconic shade of green is reminder of the historical Knightsbridge Harrods department store. The Tudor Black Bay Harrods edition was only obtainable through Harrods Fine Watch Room in London, which meant getting one wasn’t impossible but certainly not easy.
This Black Bay Harrods Exclusive reference 79230G-0001 is a stainless steel automatic wristwatch, circa 2022, with caliber MT5602 automatic movement and power reserve approximately 70 hours. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
