This was part of a broader series reinterpreting popular fairytales from my childhood. I took inspiration from the many versions of fairytales over the centuries, some more macabre, others less so.
This piece is my modern retelling of Snow White’s most famous moment, where instead of a poisonous fruit that she bites into, she took one listen to a device that is now so ubiquitous in our lives, an Apple iPhone, and fell into a deep, death-like slumber.
