This work is in very good condition overall. The junctures of the joined canvases are slightly uneven, and there is evidence of fraying, inherent to the artist's working method. All other variations in the surface texture are also inherent. Upon close inspection, there is evidence of fine cracking scattered throughout, most noticeable in the bottom right and left panels and along the extreme turning edges with associated pinpoint losses.
