This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a network of drying cracks to the background layer of the work and some irregularities to the paint throughout the composition which appear to be inherent to the artist's choice of media and working process. There are some hairline drying cracks in isolated places to the blue and green paint, with some associated minute specks of loss. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals spots of irregular fluorescence, which does not appear to be restoration and is likely to be in keeping with the artist's working process.
