Overall good condition. The wood surfaces with scattered surface scratches, scuffs, and edge abrasions consistent with age and use. The desktop with scratches, scattered pen marks, and a few areas of wear concentrated to the center, none measuring more than 3 inches wide. The proper right side of the desktop with a small concentrated area of wear and discoloration. The back edge of the desktop with an area of slight water damage. The edges of the desktop with some dents consistent with use. The drawers are in good working condition. The middle drawer with a small loss to the veneer adjacent to the drawer pull measuring approximately ½ inch. The Masonite is in good condition with scattered surface scratches and abrasions concentrated on the red and white panels consistent with age and use. The metal is in good condition with some of the bolts possibly replaced. The feet with some bending and slight misalignment of the rubber pads visible in the catalogue illustration. Two feet are lacking their rubber pads. The proper left front foot has been stabilized with a wood dowel, visible only upon close inspection. An iconic and highly functional design.
