- gelatin silver print
2 unique gelatin silver prints, comprising New York and London, each ferrotyped, mounted, framed, signed, titled, and dated in pencil, and with the photographer's copyright and bank stamps on a mount fragment affixed to the reverse, 1977-78, printed no later than 1980; accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the photographer (2)
Condition
These photographs are in generally very good condition. Each print is mounted to illustration board. As is typical of the ferrotyping process, a slight unevenness of the generally glossy surface and minor pitting are visible in raking light on both images. Upon close examination, a few extremely faint linear impressions and handling creases are also visible.
New York, 1978: There is an approximately 3-inch surface disruption at the upper left corner, possibly a result of the ferrotyping or mounting process. There are a few scratches and impressions overall that do not appear to break the emulsion. The reverse of the mount is soiled and there are tape remnants at each corner.
London, 1977: The reverse of the mount is soiled and there are tape remnants in each of the corners.
