Condition

This gelatin silver print, on matte surface paper with a velvety texture and a slightly warm tone, is in generally excellent condition. Under raking light, faint silvering is visible around the perimeter of the print, most noticeably on the left side near the top corner, where it extends approximately one inch into the image. The print is hinged to the overmat with two strips of tape along the top edge. On the reverse are the following notations in an unidentified hand in pencil: 'NW 1103 / PCFG 3 1/2 & 4 / ARCH / 5-86,' and 'OWL 282X.' The stamp is annotated 'NW 1103' in ink. The photographer's copyright stamp is dated 1987.
