Description

  • 27 cm, 10 5/8  in.
the deep rounded sides supported on a slightly tapering foot, the exterior carved in relief with a continuous leafy meander issuing six blooming peonies, bordered by a stylised cloud scroll at the rim and a keyfret border at the foot, covered overall with a rich even celadon glaze, the interior incised with similar peony scrolls encircling a central peony spray, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue

Good overall condition, with just a shallow rim flake of approx. 0.5 cm.
