Description

  • 5.5 cm, 2 1/8  in.
carved with a sinuous elongated body and depicted kneeling on the right knee, the left forelimb raised and the paw resting behind its ear, the horned beast portrayed ferocious with gaping jaws above a tuft of beard, the reverse of the figure rendered with a pair of wings detailed with incisions and issuing from the shoulders

Condition

The figure is in good condition, with only a minor bruise to the edge of one wing and expected minute nicks to the extremities.
