the rectangular box with a removable tray on the interior, the cover inlaid with various hardstones depicting a sunlit scene with five deer playfully prancing beneath a large gnarled tree, amongst jagged rocks issuing flowers and lingzhi, with clouds swirling above, the figure carved seated on a jagged rock, depicted with his characteristic crutch and double gourd

Figure: minor chips and minor surface wear. Box: there are minor chips and flaking to the lacquer still the edges. The inlays are in good condition with just minor losses.
