Description

  • stands 11 cm, 4 1/4  in.
each of rectangular section with tapering sides, painted to the exterior en grisaille with a pair of long-tailed birds perched on flowering prunus branches and another bird swooping on the side, all reserved on a lime-green ground, the front inscribed with a Dayazhai mark and a seal mark reading Tiandi yijia chun (Heaven and earth enjoying spring as one) in iron red, the stands with matching decoration

Condition

The jardinieres are in good overall condition with expected minor flakes to the feet and light rubbing to the enamels. There are also typical firing imperfections, such as fine bodylines.
