  • 26.4 cm, 10 3/8  in.
the exterior painted with dragons writhing amongst clouds and flames above cresting waves in pursuit of flaming pearls, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a single dragon, below further pacing dragons encircling the rim, the base with a six-character mark within a double circle

Condition

Refilled flakes and 4 hairlines to mouthrim; the longest approx. 1.5 cm associated with a firing crack, the shortest one approx. 0.7 cm with a related retouched flake. Original firing imperfections including cobalt smudges, body lines, grits to central well and firing cracks to rims. The foot is drilled with a tiny hole. Surface scratches. Slightly warped.
