Description

  • 17.8 cm, 7 in.
with shallow rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot to a slightly everted rim, applied overall with a rich straw-yellow glaze, save for the base left white with a six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double ring 

Condition

The rim has two restored flakes (widest approx. 1.3cm), one with an associated approx. 4.5 cm stabilised hairline, and an approx. 1.5cm hairline. Some glaze inconsistencies and firing imperfections as expected of the period. Minor surface wear.
