Description

  • 21 cm, 8 1/4  in.
the rounded sides rising to a barbed rim in the form of sixteen moulded lotus petals, the exterior with each petal enclosing a Sanskrit character alternating with a floral bloom, all above a lappet band, the interior centred by a ruyi-bordered Sanskrit character, encircled by two moulded rows of overlapping petals

Condition

There are glaze flakes to the interior, rim and band of petals on the exterior, associated from characteristic fritting, the largest measuring approx. 1.8 by 0.9 cm on the exterior. There are general surface scratches to the interior and minuscule flakes to the foot.
