  • 10.6 cm, 4 1/8  in.
brightly enamelled on a lime-green ground with four gilded shou characters, separated by stylised lotus sprays borne on foliate scrolls, each surmounted by a flying bat, all between a ruyi scroll at the gilded rim and multi-coloured upright lappets at the foot, the interior and base enamelled turquoise

Condition

Two rim flakes to the bowl, approx. 0.5 and 0.2 cm (the latter with an approx. 0.3 cm associated hairline). Wear to gilding and firing imperfections such as enamel gaps.
