Description

  • 11.4 cm, 4 1/2  in.
the shallow curving sides rising from a short foot to a flaring rim, painted to the exterior with three scrolling yellow peonies, each surrounded with green scrolled leaves on a deep coral-red ground, the interior and base left white, the base inscribed with a four-character yuzhi mark within a double square

Condition

A section of the rim has been broken into three pieces, which has been reattached with original pieces with an associated 0.4cm chip. There are four rim hairlines (approx. 1.3 to 2.3cm), one with an associated chip.
