Description

  • w. 14.5 cm, 5 3/4  in.
based on the Tibetan ritual skull cups, the skull-shaped vessel carved on the exterior in low relief a scroll of foliage sprouting flowers decorated by precious stones, the domed cover of similar design, all supported by three foreign figures, the stone of an attractive white colour with patches of russet inclusions

Condition

Two very minor shallow chips to the rims, the longer approx. 0.7 cm. Minor nicks to the fragile extremities. The inlays possibly been replaced. Expected minor natural inclusions. Otherwise in fairly good condition.
