Description

  • 3.5 to 4 cm, 1 3/8  to 1 1/2  in.
comprising a Han dynasty-style huan disc carved with two chilong in relief, an archaic double rectangular bead and a Han dynasty scabbard slide, wei, decorated with a 'grain' pattern, all carved from variegated brown stones

Condition

The scabbard slide has some surface pitting as visible on the photo and some small old shallow chips along the edges, the disc also has some old polished chip, the bead some surface wear, pitting and slightly calcified areas. All consistent with age and handling.
