Description

  • 20.4 cm and 19.2 cm, 8 and 7 1/2  in.
the bowl of conical shape rising from a short, slightly splayed foot, covered in a thick black glaze accentuated with russet splashes, the jar with the ovoid body rising from a recessed base to a broad shoulder set with two strap handles, covered with a mottled brownish-black glaze splashed in russet with abstract floral motifs

Condition

Both in overall good condition. A tiny glaze flake to one handle of the jar. Both have some light surface scratches and firing imperfections such as burst air bubbles as firing lines. The unglazed foot of the bowl has been inscribed and has some minor flakes.
