Catalogue Note

The 50th anniversary of the iconic Submariner was celebrated in 2003 with the launch of the reference 16610LV, nicknamed "Kermit" by collectors. It became the first Submariner model to be fitted with a green bezel. The highly praised reference saw several changes during its production between 2004 and 2010.
According to the serial number, the present watch was made around the very beginning of 2005. It has the correct matching combination. For example, the dial has the oval 'o' for Rolex and the 'R' of oyster is between the 'R' of Rolex, and the Swiss signature covers 5 minute indexes. Furthermore, it has its correct pointed 4 bezel, making this watch a rare F series without the flat 4 version, as is more frequently found on these watches.
