Condition

DIAL: dial and hands in excellent condition CASE: in very good condition with few light scuffs mainly to the band at 9 and 1 light short scratch to the upper right lug. Hallmarks are crisp and legible. Folding clasp is in very good condition. MOVEMENT: running at the time of cataloguing, date advances, calendar setting is operational. The last retail price for the 5135J was CHF 37,400. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of its timekeeping. Catalogue Note

The Reference 5135 was introduced in 2004 until the end of the decade. First launched in white and yellow gold, as the present lot, the model was then available in pink gold the year after followed by the platinum version in 2006. 
Until today, less than 35 examples in yellow gold have been presented on the auction market.
