Catalogue Note

The reference 5110 was produced by Patek Philippe during 6 years, between 2000 and 2006. It marked the return of the world time complication in the catalogue of the manufacture since the end of production of the 2523 in 1965.
The 5110 was produced in yellow, pink and white gold as well as in platinum.
The mechanism is similar to that which was invented by Louis Cottier. The pusher at 10 o'clock is simply activated to change the timezone, making this seemingly complicated piece particularly user-friendly.
