Catalogue Note

This exceptional Rolex Daytona Paul Newman comes with its original guarantee stamped by Bucherer, original invoice also signed by the famous retailer as well as the French tax document from when the watch accompanied the owner back to France on the day of the purchase.

This most attractive piece is fitted with an elegant panda dial that has survived in excellent and unrestored condition. The contrast of the white dial with the black subsidiary dials and outer track is striking and perfectly balanced with the warm patina of the lume plots and hands.

Furthermore, the watch is presented at auction on behalf of its original and only owner, who received it as a birthday present nearly 50 years ago, making this an extremely rare opportunity for a discerning collector to acquire a superb and very complete piece.
