Catalogue Note

Named after their father Svef's birth year, the extremely refined and intricate case of the 1941 is made in a very unusual way, with removable lugs which are attached from the inside of the case by hidden titanium screws. This allows the lugs to be changed should the watch sustain excessive wear. The intricate device placed at 9 o'clock act as governor which rotates every 8 seconds and is made to regulate the speed of the winding mechanism and therefore reduce the shocks sustained by the gear train at every stop of the winding mechanism.

Only 188 movements will be produced in total, encased in various case metals and dial variants. The present lot bears no.29/188 and delivered complete with its Certificate of Authenticity, presentation box and other accessories.
