each with cartouche-shaped padded back and serpentine seat, with downscrolled arms, on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet, carved with trails of grapes and vines, uphostered with silk, reblocked

Condition

In overall good condition. Chip to the tip of a leaf of one's chair top crest. Minor rubbing and losses to the gilding of the armrests. Gilding and paint overall with minor rubbing, chips and old marks consistent with age and use. Upholstery in good condition. Traces of old woodworm activity which no longer appears to be active. The backs have had their surfaces redecorated. Sound and sturdy. Ready to place.
