The collection includes: a manuscript map of Tangiers showing Admiral Lord Dartmouth's plan to destroy Tangier using mines in 1683; A Map of the British Empire in America, 1733 by Henry Popple, 7 maps from Alexander Dalrymple's Oriental Repertory, and others, some occasional repairs or wear; see list at Sothebys.com; sold as a collection not subject to return
