Large folio (772 x 445mm.), 31 engraved maps on 36 separate sheets, some hand-coloured in outline, various sizes, mostly double-page (some folding), 2 additional engraved maps loosely inserted (J. Rennell, Hindoostan, 1782; William Faden, Isle of St. Domingo or Hispaniola, 1794), contemporary green vellum, red edges, string ties, one map with marginal repaired tear, slightly rubbed and bowed
