  • Album of 89 photographs of Beijing. [c.1900]
Oblong folio (265 x 343mm.), 89 gelatin silver prints (from 150 x 205mm. to 209 x 287mm. or the reverse), mounted on thick card, recto and verso, most photographs with manuscript captions in Italian, contemporary red lacquer binding, upper cover with stylised view of Mount Fuji and a rickshaw, lower cover with flowers, gilt edges, 4 photographs and a postcard loosely laid in, one mount becoming detached, binding slightly worn lacking spine cover
