  • Half-length portrait of a Gentleman
  • gilt coppermonogramed and dated on the back: GHZW 1565
  • 14 x 11 cm; 5 1/2 x 4 1/3 in.

Condition

Wear to the gilding in some places, notably to the high points. The gilding have been retouched, notably in the background. There are a few scratches visible in some places, notably in the background. Fixing holes are visible on each corner and in the center of the upper edge. The torso embossed in high relief. The cloak, fur collar, beard and hat finely engraved. There are two unidentified coats of arms on the upper corners of the relief.
