The ivory has darkened, notably in the lower part. Stable hairline splitting is visible throughout the surface, consistent with the material. A few minor chips are visible to the high points in some places. Traces of the two lost hinges are visible to the proper left edge of the relief. A small circular fixing hole is visible in the centre of the upper edge and another one in the center of the lower edge. Otherwise in overall good condition.
