  • bronze; on a later verde antico marble and ebonised wood socle
  • 13.5 cm the bronze; 5 1/3 in.

Private collection, Germany.

Condition

Remnants of brown patina are visible, notably in the crevices. A few casting flaws are visible, notably to her proper right groin, and with small wrinkles to the base of her neck. The seat was cast separately with a gap visible along the joint. There are a few dents visible in some places. The later base with a few minor chips along the edges consistent with age and handling.
