painted enamel on copper ; on a silk purse Together with two further painted enamel plaques with an aristocratic couple, monogrammed IN for Jacques Nouailher (1605–1674), French, Limoges, 17th century

Condition

The silk purse is fairly faded and worn with a few tears visible. The two painted enamel plaques in fairly good condition overall with minor scratches visible over the surface consistent with age and handling. The upper edge of the plaque with a man appears to have been slightly retouched. The two additional plaques by Jacques Nouailher in fairly good condition overall with minor scratches visible on the surface consistent with age and handling.
