To the naked eye: The painting seems to be in a good overall condition. It has been relined and the canvas is stretched. Wears are visible, especially in the background. Restorations are visible in the background and in the young woman’s clothes. Under UV light: A consistent and slight varnish covers the painted surface. The restorations visible to the naked eye are also noticeable under UV.
