the dial with rococo spandrels, matted centre with date aperture and central alarm disc, signed on a recessed plaque Francis Dorrell, London, moon dial in the arch, the two train fusee movement with five knopped pillars, verge escapement, quarter striking on two bells,  the alarm acting on the hour bell, the  backplate engraved with a vase and foliate scrolls, the case with bell top, brass carrying handle and flambeau finials, floral corner mounts and brass bracket feet
