Description

  • Diam. 23,5 cm ; 9 1/3  in.
decorated with roses in a medaillon framed by flowers and golden foliage garlands; marked with the interlaced LL, letter date FF for 1783, marks of the painter Cornailles and the gilder Chauvaux

Condition

A small chip on rim at 1 o clock followed by a small hairline, wear to gilding in center.

Catalogue Note

This plate comes from a service with a decoration described as fleurettes, bought by Madame Adélaïde and Madame Victoire in December 1783 at Versailles sale. Four plates of this service are kept in Duca di Martina Museum in Naples.
