Illustration is accurate. Attractive model. The figure needs to be fixed as looses slightly. The gilded mounts quite dirty with stains and dust. Will benefit a light cleaning.

Catalogue Note
A similar pair of candelabra are kept in the Mobilier National (GML 11204 and 11205) and they are illustrated in M-F. Dupuy-Baylet, l'Heure, le Feu, la Lumière, Dijon, 2010, p. 67. They have marks of the valuation made in the Palais de l'Elysée in 1817.
