Condition

Illustration is slightly too brown. Overall good restored condition. There are some differences between the two. The one on the right has more traces of previous restorations in the marquetry and possibly better timber particularly to the stained green veneer on the legs. Inside parts of oak also less sharp. Drawer construction slightly different. Both have been restored at the same time, together in the same way to mach as a pair. The one on the left possibly of a later date without evidence that it was made on purpose to form a pair. Possibly not born together and joined after. A sale room notice will state that comment.
